8D7N Cairo - Nile Cruise

Arrival to Cairo Airport, meet & assist during formalities, then escort to the hotel, check in, at night optional dinner cruise, then back to the hotel & overnight.

After breakfast, check out and sightseeing in Giza to visit the Pyramids & Sphinx. (Optional: lunch during the tour). Then heading to the Papyrus institute and Perfume Factory, then sightseeing to visit old Cairo and Khan El Khalili. Evening transfer to the train station to catch the train heading to Aswan (first class/ air-conditioned Spanish seating train) & overnight.

Arrival Aswan. Upon arrival, sightseeing in Aswan to visit the high dam, the unfinished obelisk and Philae temple then to the cruise check in and Optional lunch then felucca ride around the rocky island of the Nile. After that optional visit to the Nubian village where you can experience the daily life & costumes of Upper Egyptians. Then transfer to the cruise, dinner and entertainment on board. Sailing to Kom Ombo and overnight on board in the cruise.

Breakfast, arrival to Kom Ombo & visit the temple of Kom Ombo. The temple is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Continue sailing to Edfu, lunch on board. After lunch sightseeing of Edfu temple, the major Ptolemaic temple and the best preserved in Egypt. The temple is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and was built over a 180-year period from 237 BC to 57 BC. Continue sailing to Esna to cross the lock. Dinner & entertainment of Galabia party, sailing to Luxor & overnight on board.

After breakfast, sightseeing in Luxor to visit the west bank, El Dier El Bahari (Queen Hatschepsut) temple, Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, back to the cruise, lunch. At night optional sound & light show at Karnak temple, then back to the cruise entertainment and over night on board.

Breakfast, check out from the cruise, the sightseeing of the east bank to visit Karnak & Luxor Temples. Evening transfer to the train station to catch the train going to Cairo & overnight at the first class seating train.

Arrival Cairo. Upon arrival, sightseeing to visit the Egyptian Museum, then transfer to the hotel, check in & over night at the hotel.

Breakfast, then transfer to Cairo international airport for final departure.
