Hari 1: Arrival - Paro

Drive to Bhutan capital Thimphu 53 km from international airport Paro towards Thimphu 2320m above sea level. After few kilometers drive can stop at Chhuzom means meeting of two river Paro river and Thimphu river the Bhutanese tradition regards meeting of two river is inauspicious thus there is presence of 3 very unique Chorten to ward off this inauspiciousness. The three Chorten reflects the 3 different architecture styles of Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan built in 1980. Upon arrival to Thimphu check in the hotel. After checking in the hotel, then visit to Tashi Cho Dzong “The Fortress of the Auspicious Religious” is popularly known as Thimphu Dzong one of the largest Dzong in the Bhutan.
