Join in a time of sharing and feasting to a selection of foods cooked the traditional Maori way on hot stones in an authentic earthen oven.
    Day 4: Rotorua
    Today's activities include Te Puia - Thermal Reserve to see roaring geysers and mud pools. Following this, you will travel to Rainbow Springs to view trout and other wildlife and the famous Agrodome Sheep Show. The rest of the afternoon is free for optional tours.
    Day 5: Rotorua – Queenstown (by air - domestic flight included)
    After breakfast, you will be dropped off at the coach terminal to be taken to the airport for your flight to Queenstown. Upon arrival at Queenstown, you will meet our friendly guide and will be transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day will be at own leisure.
    Day 6: Queenstown
    This is completely free day for you to pursue your own activities. Queenstown offers Jet Boating, Lake Cruise, Bungee Jumping, Rafting, Horse Riding, Gondola Rides and may be a visit to the Sky Alpine Casino.
    Day 7: Milford Sound
    This morning, follow Lake Wakatipu via Kingston arriving at Te Anau. From here, you will enter Fiordland National Park. Travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains, on through the Homer Tunnel in time to board your catamaran for the Milford Sound Cruise. You will pass Mitre Peak, the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the sea. View the Stirling and Bowen Falls as you cruise out to the Tasman Sea. Return to the pier where you reboard your coach for your return journey to Queenstown.
    Day 8: Queenstown – Mt Cook – Christchurch (600km)
    This morning, we will travel over the Lindis Pass to reach Mt Cook around lunch time. A rare opportunity will be given to take an optional scenic flight to view Mt Cook's snow fields and glaciers. We continue through to Lake Tekapo and across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.
    Day 9: Depart Christchurch
    After breakfast, free at leisure until the time to proceed to the airport for your return flight back to Singapore.

    Departing Wellington we head south via Lake Taupo and the Tongariro National Park to Levin and onto Wellington, New Zealand's capital.
    Day 6: Wellington – Picton – Nelson
    This morning we'll board the Interislander Ferry across the Cook Strait to Picton to continue your journey to Nelson, We take the scenic Queen charlotte Drive along the Sound to Havelock, before crossing the Rai Saddle to Nelson
    Day 7: Nelson – Greymouth – West Coast Glaciers
    Today we cross the Hope Saddle to Kawatiri Junction before entering the Buller Gorge and following the Buller River to Westport. We view the amazing Pancake Rock Formations at Punakaiki and then on to Greymouth, nestled on the banks of the Grey River. Continue southwards by coach along the coast to reach Westland National Park and the glacier regions.
    Day 8: West Coast Glaciers (B)
    A full day at leisure to enjoy the magnificent glaciers. Climb on to the slow moving river of ice or take an optional scenic flight for a bird's eye view of this spectacular terrain.
    Day 9: West Coast Glaciers – Queenstown (420km) (B)
    We depart this morning through the South Westland Heritage Park and across the rugged Haast Pass and Lake Wanaka. This afternoon's travel is through the Kawarau Gorge to reach Queenstown.
    Day 10: Queenstown
    Cruise on the vintage "Old Lady", the TSS Earnslaw, to Walter Peak High Country Farm for an excursion of the Colonel's Homestead. Watch sheep shearing.
    Day 11: Queenstown – Mt Cook – Christchurch (600km)

  • Day 1: Singapore - Sydney
    Depart Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Sydney.
    Day 2: Sydney - Broken Hill
    Upon arrival in Sydney, transfer to Sydney Train Station and on board the overnight train for four days three nights. Australia's longest rail journey snakes 4,352 km across mountains, plains, and deserts between Sydney and Perth. Indian Pacific start the journey by travelling over the sandstone escarpments and through the villages of the Blue Mountains as the train scales the Great Dividing Range. Dinner is served as the Western Plains unfurl.
    Day 3: Broken Hill - Adelaide Indian Pacific
    After a good night's rest, tuck into breakfast as the train rolls through Outback New South Wales toward Broken Hill. Morning and afternoon light on the gnarled hills, mulga scrub, and red-soil plains out here inspires artists, many of whom have galleries in Broken Hill. Dinner is served as the train backtracks through Adelaide's northern suburbs to the railway junction at Crystal Brook. Darkness covers the run up Spencer Gulf and into salt-lake country, and dawn finds you on the Nullarbor Plain.
    Day 4: Adelaide - Kalgoorlie - Perth
    Indian Pacific Around breakfast time, the Indian Pacific starts its run on the world's longest straight stretch of railway. Later the train stops in Cook to take on water and change drivers. Step off and wander around this virtual ghost town. Around nightfall you'll roll into Kalgoorlie for a 31/2-hour stop. This is Australia's largest Outback city, and it sits on the world's highest concentration of gold. Join a whistle stop tour to learn about the hardships of early mining and the unique cast of characters that came here to strike it rich. Weather permitting, you also see the 1,090-foot-deep, 3-km-long (2-m i-long) flood-lit Super Pit. From Kalgoorlie, the Indian Pacific continues west through the night, and the journey ends in Perth around 9 am on following day.
    Day 5: Perth - Singapore
    Transfer from rail station to Perth Airport to catch your flight back home.

  • Day 1: Singapore - Adelaide
    Depart Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Adelaide.
    Day 2: Adelaide
    Upon arrival in Adelaide, transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring Adelaide's city centre. Take a walking tour of Adelaide Central Market, explore the cultural boulevard of North Terrace including National Wine Centre, South Australian Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia or head for the shops in Rundle Mall.
    Day 3: Adelaide - Alice Springs
    Transfer to Adelaide Rail Station and on board the overnight train for three days two nights. Adelaide to Alice Springs: What a way to travel from Adelaide into wine country, desert and scrubs. The comfort of the train allows one the luxury to gaze at the panorama as we pass through coastal Coonamia and Port Augusta. Crossing over Dog Fence - the world's longest fence, pass through Cadney Homestead at the gateway to the Painted Desert, passing rustic railway towns and vast tracts of Aboriginal land, where communities have maintained their connection with the land for thousands of years.
    Day 4: Alice Springs - Katherine
    In the morning, crossing the Northern Territory border and travelling through the small bush town of Kulgera one can take in the multicoloured vistas before arriving in Alice Springs. Alice Springs to Katherine: Explore Alice Springs on one of the many whistle stop tours. Learn about the area's outback pioneers or immerse yourself in its Aboriginal history with a Central Arrernte guide. Visit a working camel farm or see the region's birds and wildlife at Alice Springs Desert Park. Fly over Simpson's Gap and the Larapinta Trail or go quad biking across the desert. To see the sights at your own pace, take the 70-minute shuttle bus with an experienced guide and hop off as you wish at the major attractions. Reboarding the train in the late afternoon allows one to gaze at the sunset as dusk descends whilst travelling into the darkness and dinner.
    Day 5: Katherine - Darwin
    In the morning will pass through gold-mining town of Tennant Creek and into the historic pioneering township of Katherine. Katherine to Darwin: After breakfast, you may join one of the many half-day tours. One can cruise down Katherine Gorge past magnificent sandstone cliffs or fly over its interconnecting gorges. See the wonderful birds and animals of Nitmiluk National Park on a nature cruise or canoe down the Katherine River. Or wander around the town, using the shuttle bus to hop off at attractions such as the Railway Museum, historic Springvale Homestead and the local Aboriginal art gallery. As we depart Katherine we pass through the old gold mining town of Pine Creek and Adelaide River, once a World War II military headquarters when the Japanese were bombing Darwin. By late afternoon we arrive in tropical Darwin, transfer you to hotel.
    Day 6: Darwin - Singapore
    The morning is free to relax before transfer to Airport and catch your flight home.
